According to Family Search record, this couple had 19 children. However, Martha's age at the time of the later births makes it unlikely that these are really all her children. Also, the supposed father, John Pipkin (b. 1675) died two years before the birth of the youngest child. The family had TWO sons named John, 32 years apart. There were also two Josephs, two Lewis's, two Mary's, two Daniel's and two Isaac's.

It seems possible that the first John (b. c 1698) is the father of the later children, and the identical name caused research confusion.
